Ryo:

I am originally from Tokyo where I owned my own restaurant, but I moved here almost five years ago. I was originally living and working in Denver for Cameron Mitchell Restaurant Group, which is where I met Christy. When she moved to Boston and started working at Millennium Tower, she brought me on board.

I don’t have any classic schooling…I was lucky enough to have chefs who took me under their wings, and I learned on the job in Japan.

Italian food. It’s so different from the food in Japan.

Right now, I really like the chopped kale salad from the new menu. It’s healthy and tastes great.

I love working with Christy and all of the fun staff here at the Owner’s Lounge. They make Boston feel like home.
