Productivity. Somewhere along the line, we began to view our constant state of busyness as a status symbol. We stress the importance of being productive and measure our success by the length of our to-do lists. And while productivity is a good thing – it instills us with purpose and drive – it can also be exhausting to feel that constant tug to do more, give more, be more.   

It’s an urge so ingrained into our being that just the thought of skipping a HIIT workout to get a full night of sleep makes us feel guilty. But what if we told you the opposite was true? Slowing down the pace and taking time to rest, recover and stretch is essential to achieving peak performance.  

Seriously. A recovery routine is necessary to be the best version of yourself at work, the gym, or home.   

At FLX Wellness, we’re here to help. Our trainers are experts in the art of recovery and can assist you in implementing your own routine with techniques like active and passive stretching, therapeutic modalities, and manual therapy. Manual Stretching

Trainer assisted stretching sessions will increase your range of motion, flexibility, and postural alignment. You will spend 30-60 minutes being guided through stretches to relieve both emotional and physical stress for overall wellbeing.   

Thai Stretching

Thai stretching is a mix of yoga and trainer assisted stretching that will release superficial and deep muscular tension, leaving you feeling balanced, energized and relaxed. Over time, Thai stretching will improve body alignment and flexibility. 

Manual Therapy

Work with a licensed athletic trainer for 30-60 minutes for passive stretching and specific hands-on techniques to increase range of motion, mobilize soft tissue and joints, reduce inflammation, facilitate movement and improve your body alignment.

Post-Training Session Recovery

After an intense training session, begin recovering immediately with our Normatec compression sleeves to reduce inflammation. You may also take advantage of our Hypervolt vibration massage devices to relieve muscle stiffness while also increasing circulation.
