Movement for Everyday Life
You don’t need to have dancing aspirations to enjoy our FLX Movement program. Designed to increase balance and range of motion, these lessons are a great way to supplement your training program, helping you achieve your goals faster. Like competing in your first road race or improving your yoga practice.
Rob Glover, Director of Movement and Choreographer for “Dancing with the Stars,” will guide you through a full body workout that will keep you motivated. Take a look at how aerobic movements like dancing can improve your everyday life.
Increased Energy Levels
Movement that increases your heart rate and gets the blood flowing is going to improve your endurance, which makes it easier to perform everyday activities. When you have energy left over after a full day of work, you are going to feel less tried and more motivated to accomplish your goals.
Better Executive Function
Executive function is a set of mental skills like working memory, flexible thinking, and self-control. Moving for just 30 minutes a day can improve your cognitive abilities, helping you stay focused and in the “now.”
Immediate Mood Booster
Most people consider movement as a way to achieve future goals, like losing weight. However, several studies show that moderate exercise can boost your mood in as little as five minutes! If you’re having a tough or stressful day, perhaps the answer is to get your body moving in a dance lesson, so you can finish the day in a positive mindset.
