Tell us a little about yourself…
How did you get into luxury hospitality?
What do you like most about working at Millennium Tower?
What is your favorite amenity at Millennium Tower?
What’s your go-to Downtown Boston restaurant?
In your opinion, how has Millennium Tower helped transform Downtown Boston?
What are your favorite things about the holiday season in Boston?
Christy:
Well, I was born and raised in Detroit. But a little over three years ago my boyfriend—who works in finance—was offered an incredible position in Boston. We decided it was the perfect opportunity to try living in a new city, so we packed up our things and headed East.
When I was 15-years-old, I started my first job as a busser in a fine dining restaurant. I fell so in love with the restaurant atmosphere that I worked in every position until I made my way to the top.
Two things, really. Getting to know the residents and helping provide a memorable experience. Good food, service and company is what it’s all about. I also love working with the Mina Group. They’re an incredible and hardworking team.
The private restaurant, of course!
Yvonnes. I love their cocktail program and all their tapas are amazing. Plus, it’s a unique speak-easy atmosphere, which adds to the overall experience.
I’ve been watching the construction of Millennium Tower since the very beginning. The Tower seems to embody all that is new and fresh in the area. As soon as I saw the signage with Chef Michael Mina’s picture, I knew that the area was in for a real treat.
I love just walking around and enjoying all the holiday decorations, especially the Macy’s Christmas tree. It’s also a lot of fun to go ice skating at the Boston Common Frog Pond.
