Anne:
I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, but I moved to Boston just over a year ago in search of a new challenge and a change of scenery. My grandfather was born and raised in Boston, my brother lives here, and I have always loved the city…so I certainly have some Boston roots!
In high school, I started out as a host at a fine dining restaurant. I worked for that same company for ten years, and took on as many different positions as I possibly could until I finally got promoted to management. I certainly pride myself on my ability to deliver genuine hospitality, and the Tower is the perfect place for me to do so here in Boston.
There's nothing like a warm bowl of soup on a chilly, fall day. I absolutely love the green apple curry and butternut squash soup recipes that my mom and I make every year when the weather starts to turn. The flavors always remind me of my mom.
Well, cheeseburgers are one of my favorite foods to eat in general, so I’d have to say the Tower Burger. I like to add-on bacon and eggs for a delicious way to mix up a tasty treat!
No. 9 Park is my favorite restaurant right now…after Mina at the Tower, of course! My best friend took me there when she was in town visiting. We really treated ourselves and went for the tasting menu. I highly recommend it.
I love going to the movies with my brother, especially if it’s raining outside. It’s my favorite way to unwind when the weather is yucky.
